Here’s my finished product from the Crochet Along at One Dog Woof! This cowl was such a nice easy break from the crochet fox scarf that made me question ever making a scarf again.

This worked up really quick since it used two strands of yarn held together and a M hook. My M hook is plastic and I never used it before. I have to say I did not like it. I felt like the yarn did not glide across the hook as easily as my metal hooks. Despite the awkwardness I finished this cowl up in about a week with a couple days break when I was sick.

I never used the v stitch before and I thought it was very easy to get the hang of. I have been trying to think of how to use it for a headband or hat to go along with the cowl. I still have a ton of this color yarn left over so I need to find a good way to use it up.

I love the size of this cowl and I want to make more! It’s great to wear all day long and I don’t feel too hot. It’s nice and open so it’s warm without being to heavy.

I already wore it twice last week. Once to work and out to dinner with Mike.
