Crochet Toddler Ribbed Beanie Free Pattern

Have you ever seen my crochet ribbed beanie hat pattern? It’s my most popular post and all over Pinterest. I really can’t even believe a hat pattern I made could be so popular. It’s actually a really quick pattern to work up and because of its insane popularity I decided to design it in a smaller toddler size for Lincoln. I was itching to make him a simpler non cutesy hat since we still have lots more winter ahead of us. It’s fits really well under the hood on his jacket so he can have double the warmth when it’s below freezing in the morning (or the afternoon for that matter.)

This pattern can be worn by both boys and girls and I think it would look really great in a bright pink color. You could even add a flower like in the original to give it more of a girly look.

Worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart with Love)
I hook
Tapestry needle

FPDC= Front Post Double Crochet (See a video here)
