This has to be one of the fastest projects I’ve ever done. I got a set of of assorted cabochons and jewelry findings from Groopdealz.com a month or two ago for a really great price.
I am really into the bright colors that are big in stores right now, especially at Target. I may be slightly addicted to scoping out the sales and clearance there 😉 I eyed up these cabochons in my jewelry craft box the other day and thought they would make a great addition to my summer wardrobe.
The kit I had came with findings for rings, earrings and necklaces. There were also some bobby pins too but I didn’t use them. I figured I would use all the cabochons that didn’t have a match for rings and necklaces and the pairs for earrings. I had to pull out a few extra earrings and one of the necklaces.
There was also a little bottle of E600 glue in the kit too. I took one of the findings and dabbed a little glue on it and stuck in the middle of the back of the cabochon. Then I let everything dry overnight. I made all of the jewelry in less than 20 minutes!
Now I have all of this cute and colorful jewelry to wear with my spring and summer outfits! And it was a fraction of the cost of buying this many rings, earrings and necklaces from the store 🙂
